I have been a Jaguar enthusiast for many years. I have had both good experiences and bad when dealing with service-related Jaguar businesses. I am working in San Antonio temporarily. I live in Phoenix AZ. A few weeks back I went to Phoenix to visit my wife and daughter. I decided to drive my 1998 XK8 back to San Antonio from Phoenix. My car turned to 50,000 mark on the 1070 journey from Phoenix. Not too bad for a 1998. Upon arrival to San Antonio, I discovered I had the left side dip beam out on the XK8. I promptly went to Pep Boys and bought a replacement bulb. Well, after losing about five pounds of flesh from my right hand, I gave up to fix the damn thing. I decided to go for a drive instead, it was last Sunday.

In my venture down San Pedro, I noticed your sign and shop. Wednesday the 18th, I decided to check out your shop. While waiting for your serviceman to have a look, I was looking into your shop. The first thing that impressed me was the cleanliness. I knew you most likely had a first-class operation. Keep in mind, I took a chance that anyone would be interested in looking at a simple light bulb. your service man jumped on it immediately, no waiting; I know he had other things he could be doing. Your service man discovered I had blown a fuse. I could have never found the fuse.

Your service man was a pleasure to work with. While he was busy, he took the time to talk with me. I expected a bill for $100. When it came time to play. He charged me $20.00. What a nice guy, I sure hope you keep him around. Please thank him for me.

Let me qualify some of my experience, I left Van Tuyl Automotive Investment Group in November. The Van Tuyl Group is the largest privately held automotive sales and service group in the nation. They own over 70 of the largest car dealerships in the nation. I was the Corporate Risk Manager. I have seen the entire BS dealerships pull on unsuspecting people. It was a pleasure to deal with your shop.

Our visit to San Antonio for the Jaguar Champion meet was certainly made more enjoyable thanks to You and the great people who work for your company. The open house party was first-class from start to finish. We had a wonderful time eating all the great food and really enjoyed the nband. The cars on display were really outstanding.

We would also like to thank you for making your facilities available for the detailing of our MK-2. your people were very helpful with advice and cleaning goodies. San Antonio is very lucky to have a great service center like Victor’s for serving their cars.

Dear Victor’s:

Just wanted to say thanks for accommodating me regarding the rear brakes on my BMW. I appreciate you working with me to leave the car a couple days while on a trip when it was much more convenient to me.

I picked up the car and it was washed which I did not expect, but thanks a lot! Everyone was easy to work with and having been recommended by a friend of mine, I knew I would get quality work. I also felt the price was very reasonable.

Hello Victor, I have been remiss in writing to you to thank you for the incredible job you did getting my XKE in such great shape.  I have been driving it on weekends and loving it.  It starts quickly and easily and runs beautifully.  I could not be more grateful.  Every enhancement you gave it has worked as it should.  The A/C system is superb and handling is great.  I am very grateful for all your hard work.

 
I have owned other great cars, but none give me the joy this one does.  it’s a fantastic sports car.  I have been idly looking at other XKEs out of curiosity so please keep me posted if you see an owner who is interested in selling either a roadster or a coupe.

This establishment is top notch , my wife brings her Mercedes here to get serviced . Paul is always very helpful HONEST and informative. He gives us the proper guidance on when we need to wait to get a service done or absolutely need it done . I truly appreciate their honesty and expertise.

Wish I could give them 10 ⭐️!!! I HIGHLY recommend Victors! We brought my husbands mustang here in hopes that these guys could find out what was causing it to randomly cut off. And I’ll be honest with you, we really didn’t know if they would be able to…since we had three other mechanic shops in three different states “work” on the car and still unable to fix it. The guys at Victors really took the time to find the problem even though it wasn’t easy. They are thorough, honest, communicative and had his car fixed within a week.

I took my 2006 Jaguar S Type R because of a P0430 code and hood not closing properly. Paul diagnosed the problem as a bad catalytic converter. Said they are not made anymore, but said there would be no issues driving (2000 miles per year). Also fixed the hood. Paul said there would be no charge. Victor’s is the best as they always look out for your best interest.
